It is worth noting that the tomato picking robot's interactive perception and precise control algorithm has been successfully selected as one of the top ten innovative achievements of central enterprise robots released at the conference, attracting much media attention.
This robot adopts global and local dual perspective collaborative perception, integrating lightweight semantic segmentation, fruit cluster observation pose estimation, stem collision free picking pose generation, and mechanical arm obstacle avoidance planning to achieve selective picking of tomato single fruits, effectively reducing dependence on manual harvesting and fruit damage, and improving the automation and intelligence level of facility tomato picking operations. The overall achievements have reached the international advanced level, and some have reached the international leading level. At present, the equipment has been demonstrated and applied on a large scale in smart greenhouses and facility planting greenhouses in Beijing, Xinjiang, Jilin, Luoyang and other places, with good promotion value and broad application prospects.
