Shandong Province is a major province in the manufacturing and application of agricultural machinery and equipment. The output value of agricultural machinery and equipment accounts for about 1/4 of the country's total. It can provide fully mechanized solutions for "cultivation, planting, management, harvesting, and storage", and is the province with the strongest production, manufacturing, and supporting capabilities for agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as the most comprehensive product system in China.

In order to thoroughly implement the national "14th Five Year Plan" development plan and rural revitalization strategy deployment, accelerate the improvement of agricultural machinery and equipment, enhance efficiency, promote the deep integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy, and assist in the green and high-quality development of agriculture, the organizing committee will hold the "2026 20th China (Shandong) International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition" at the Shandong Lutai Convention and Exhibition Center in Weifang on March 20-21, 2026.
