How to maintain the blades of a hedge trimmer
Date: 2020-07-27Read: 4
Notes:
1. Only after confirming that the blade of the hedge trimmer is not broken, cracked, or bent, can it be used. Blades that have already experienced abnormalities cannot be used.
2. Please use sharpened hedge trimmer blades that have been ground.
3. When grinding the blade, to prevent the blade from cracking, be sure to file the root of the teeth into an arc shape.
4. After tightening the screws and attaching the blade, the car mounted hedge trimmer should first rotate the blade by hand to check for any upward or downward swinging or abnormal noise. If there is up and down swinging, it may cause abnormal vibration or loosening of the fixed part of the blade.
The main methods of maintenance
1. Clean the blades of the hedge trimmer at the end of each day's homework, first rinse the mud and debris on the hedge trimmer with water, and store it in the warehouse.
2. Check if the bottom cover is clean and inject butter. At the same time, apply butter on the upper and lower tracks and various moving parts.
3. Check the engine air filter and exhaust pipe for carbon buildup.
4. Prepare the oil ratio in advance and use the oil recommended by HP or the manufacturer
5. If the hedge is not used for a long time, apply butter to the blades, moving parts, screws, and metal parts for rust prevention when storing them; Each operating handle is in the disconnected and lowered positions. Drip a few drops of engine oil onto the cable.
